Storyline:
In Madurai, during the year 1976, Alliyus Caesar is a well-known criminal who has an aspiration to become a dark-skinned actor in Tamil cinema. As a fan of Clint Eastwood, Caesar’s desire seems far-fetched. Meanwhile, Kirubakar, who is known for being a coward, finds himself wrongly accused and convicted of murdering four individuals.
The situation takes a turn when a psychopathic cop offers Kirubakar a secret mission to assassinate Caesar. Taking on the alias of Ray Dasan, a student and assistant director of Satyajit Ray, Kirubakar proposes an idea to create an Oscar-worthy film based on Caesar’s life as a gangster. Upon learning of Caesar’s love for Eastwood, Kirubakar suggests the title Pandyaa for the movie.
